Ultrasonic cleaners:
For watch case, bracelet, jewelry, and other large items, we utilize modern L&R 2.5 gallon units for initial cleaning and final clean cycles. All watch case components (bezel, main body, case back, threaded tube, etc.) are separated for optimum cleanliness. Bracelets are also scrubbed by hand to remove embedded debris.

All watch movements are disassembled to the main plate and bridges, individual parts secured in mesh screen baskets, and run through either an L & R Tempo 400, or a L & R Tempo 355. Both units are modern, automated, 5 cycle ultrasonic cleaning machines. Certain watch movements undergo an initial cleaning in a manual 4 cycle Bulova ultrasonic watch movement cleaner.

Ultrasonic cleaning solutions we utilize are the L & R brand. Over the years, this has proven to give the most reliable, quality cleaning without leaving residues as other less expensive brands/blends do.

Watch Oils:
We use the finest Moebius and synthetic Swiss produced oils recommended for unique applications, as well as meeting or exceeding most factory specifications.


Timing and Diagnosis equipment:
We use a state of the art Elma Watch-Matic timing instrument with a liquid crystal display. This instrument features manual and automatic beat error and angle settings for all Swiss lever mechanical movements. This also displays balance wheel amplitude in degrees. Connected to this instrument is a separate platform for inspecting quartz watches for problems and accuracy. We also use a Witschi Q-Test 6000 for quartz watch diagnosis and testing. This unit tests all functions of quartz watches, including rate, consumption, voltage, coil resistance, and more.

 

Watches are tested after service by using a Bergeon machine for positional testing and also wind test function of automatic watches. Watches are also tested in various static postions.

Water pressure chamber test:
We utilize Bergeon water testing equipment.
